Day 1 : Nairobi
  • You begin your magical holiday today as you board your flight to Kenya – the heart of African Safari!
  • On arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you are met by our representative and transfer to the hotel.
  • This morning we will give you a full safari briefing, about your itinerary.
  • Tonight we dine at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.
  • Overnight at the hotel.  
Day 2 : Nakuru
  • After breakfast you depart to Lake Nakuru National Park which was the first in Africa to be designated a National Park primarily because of its numerous bird population. It is set in the picturesque landscape of the Great Rift Valley with surrounding woodland and grassland next to Nakuru town. This is a saline lake hosting the pink flamingos, black and white Rhino, Pelicans, Buffalos and Lions among others.
  • Afternoon game viewing drive at the lake shore. Later lunch
  • Dinner & Overnight at Flamingo Hills Tented Camp or similar.
Day 3 : Masai Mara
  • After breakfast you embark on the morning drive to the spectacular countryside. Crossing the valley you make your way to Kenya's premier wildlife park - the Masai Mara to arrive in time for lunch.
  • During your game drive you may see all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) as well as plains game such as giraffe, antelope and zebra.
  • Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Mara or similar. 
Day 4 : Masai Mara
  • After Breakfast
  • Later morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara you have a very good chance of seeing all the major Plains animals including lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, rhino, hyena, cheetah, jackal, warthog and many species of antelope.
  • Today you also encounter and learn about the Masai, a proud tribal people struggling to preserve their traditions in the face of modernization. (Optional excursions available: hot air balloon or visit a Masai tribal village)
  •  At sunset you will visit a section of the Mara River where you hope to see many hippos.
  • Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Mara or similar.
Day 5 : Masai Mara - Nairobi
  • Morning after breakfast drive back to Nairobi
  • Arrive & check into the hotel.
  • Balance of the day may be spent strolling in the city or visiting the Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Manor
  • Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Nairobi Departure
  • After breakfast transfer to the airport for your final departure.
